The login provider on the Sun Portal Server 7.x anonymous desktop by default does not handle failure events. If an event occurs like the user enters a bad password or the user's password has expired they are redirected to the Access Manager page that deals with the error. I have created a JSP and a document that will help you configure a "Smart" Login Channel. The channel I have created will deal with failures in the channel on the anonymous desktop. A user should not be directed off the portal page for any of the authentication processes. |
