Configuring
Gaim to Play Sounds
By default Gaim will not play the default sounds that we hear when
using the AIM client. The default is just a system beep. To enable the
expected sounds do the following:
1) Edit Prefences
2) Click on Sounds in the list
3) Change Sound Method to "Command"
4) Type esdplay %s in the Sound Command field
5) Close the window
